|
|
I play RB at a bar sometimes and they have an ION, so it reduces the drum lanes on all GH games to 4 lanes. And everyone is use to that.
I'm going to take my drums in to the bar. I have the GH:WT box hooked up to my yamaha brain.
So the question is; Is there any way to reduce the lanes back down to 4? Or will it recognize my drums as GH drums and automatically give me 5 lanes? Is it an option in the game menus?
thanks boys. |

There is no option in the game menus. It will automagically detect it as GH drums, since well, that's exactly what you're connecting. You'll get 5 lanes and there is no way to change that when using a GH:WT box. _________________ WARNING: Our group is not a friend of Gear Acquisition Syndrome (G.A.S.) Anonymous.

However, you are able to instead just use the Ion brain which would give you 4 lanes. All you do is hook up some stereo/mono cables from pad/trigger to the ion brain. I use this method at home with my ION brain and Roland pads/cymbals. The issue that might come with this is sensitivity issues with some of your pads. You should check out this link:

That would be your best bet to choose what you want to do. =) |
