It comes out March 2 (for the US). Im very excited for the game, ive reserved the Limited Edition, and after playing the demo released today, i must say, MW2: meet your match. I may never play MW2 again when its out. Too bad ill have to quit when FF13 comes out the week after.
Anyone else pumped!? _________________ "I try to play for a trophy a day." |

I played the Beta and just got the Demo Saturday as well as pre-ordered the LE Disc.
Great fun. I am a demon in a Tank but turn into a druken moron in the choppers. I hope there are flight lessons on the full game.
Collecting Dog Tags is a cool feature for sure. _________________ All I am offering is the truth, nothing more... |

Collecting tags is great, reminiscent of the BF 2142 game (PC)
I pre-ordered the LE on PC and i've been playing the beta for about 2 weeks (since release) It was buggy as hell, but has been getting alot better.
I've been playing the BF series on PC since BF 1942 back around 2002ish. _________________ PSN = el_bobbo

Put me in a UAV drone, and i will own. every time the defender's chopper respawns, i hover above it, and as soon as they get into it, BANG! missle hits it, usually a double kill.
I also want to point out that there is a Dr.Pepper promotion going on right now, where every cap gets you access to a piece of DLC from select EA games. These include Mass Effect 2, Battlefield 1943, the sims 3, spore, and BAD COMPANY 2.

dont use your caps until the game comes out, it wont give anycode for BC2 right now, so keep your caps and wait for march before using them. All im hoping for is to run around with a dr. pepper camo tossing frags that look like dr. pepper bottles. _________________ "I try to play for a trophy a day." |

ok, ive played this since yesterday, and its 100% more enjoyable than MW2 IMO. destruction is awesome, weapons sound great, and the leveling system is well planned. This is also the first game ive played where the MP looks better graphicaly than SP. _________________ "I try to play for a trophy a day." |

I gave this game an honest try. Put a few hours into the single player game and a few hours into the online play and my buddy and I just didn't take to it like you guys did. There were some nice aspects of the game but it just seemed to take forever to finally get into the action, to just die, and wait 5 secs to spawn, to then actually find someone, die, spawn, lather, rinse, repeat. And it seemed to be the same 2 maps over and over again. Some other silly things that just put the nail in the coffin for me.
- No Prone position. How can you make a "Tactical Shooter" and skip prone. No prone = run-n-gun (aka, HALO)
- Button Config. I liked button layout of COD better than this one. Should have been a custom config (not just pick 4 different configs). I'm sure that I would have eventually become accustomed to it, but it would have been better to allow me to configure it just like COD
- Too Dark. Difficult time seeing... well, anyone. And I even played with the Brightness / Contrast in the game and on my TV.
- Took way too long from the point that you killed someone to register it on the bottom of the screen. You end up putting a few extra shots into the person for good measure b/c you didn't know they were dead yet. Wasted Ammo and made you vulnerable to his buddy standing next to him.
All in all, it just seemed like someone tried to take the best parts of HALO and COD and converge them on 1 game and ended up creating something inferior to either product it was adopting idea's from.
On the bright side, I traded it for 2 x 1600 MS Points cards so I can get my COD Maps on the 30th and some RB songs, so it wasn't a total loss. _________________ Check out the Drum Mods & Drum Gear FAQ for quick answers to common questions. |

LOL nice.
I agree with the prone fault, but none of the other issues exist on PC.
The Battlefield series is definitely meant to be played on PC versus Console. _________________ PSN = el_bobbo
