Is there something wrong or did I miss something in the Drum Mods & Drum Gear FAQ that you think should be there? Post it in here.

Thanks

Hey, great work! Maybe add a "What other drum mods have people done?" section, sort of a mod index for stuff like the cowbell mod?

Done, added the e-cowbell for now and will circle back through the forum to gather up some more for later. Thanks for the idea!

That MIDI chart is somewhat hard to read, first because the img itself is pretty small, and 2nd because the img itself is pretty small. Smile

Can you make it a bit bigger, and perhaps add horizontal lines between each model brain?

You can also add PD-5, PD-6, and PD-7 to the "works perfectly" section.

And maybe a link to the real Kickbox site too, with a listed of tested kick triggers (KD-7, KD-8, KD-85, Yamaha KP65).

DONE... well almost. You'll still have to click on it to see it full size.

How about adding the Alesis I/O? AFAIK it supports all three, although you'll need a computer to get sound simultaneously while playing RB.

There's also this:
http://docsrockbandmods.netforums.us/possible-solution-for-drum-brains-w-fixed-midi-vt543.html
Not terribly detailed, but it might be enough to get someone who's stuck with fixed HH notes started on a workaround.

Made some updates to make it less of a wall of text and easier to find information by creating sections with links. This should help the reader find what is meaningful to them without going through 4 pages of stuff.

I started to pull some information from the Rock Band Forums into that thread and will also pull some info from Scorehero and v-Drums over the next few days.

Since I rarely goto Rock Band Forums and more nor Scorehero, if you are there and you see a topic that should be added, post the link in here. Thank You for your help.

Sweet. I was planning on putting something like this up on my domain (davidshek.com) and you've already done most of the work for me Very Happy

Good work Sir!

If I'm reading the chart correctly, then you can add the Simmons SD7K to the list of kits that work flawlessly with RB2. I use sethmeisterg's USB adapter, so I have no idea how well it works with the GHWT MIDI box. Mark MIDI mapping and HHO/HHC mapping, but I don't think MIDI audio output applies with the SD7K if I understand what that means.

Over the weekend I tossed some quick diagrams together to help illustrate how things happen since many questions can be resolved by understanding that each portion is modular such as Trigger/Sound Module/MIDI Passthrough/etc.

Can someone take a peek at the following tread an let me know if it's easily to follow and/or anything is incorrect.
